Tanner's background, like those of our other Britts, is heavily Maverick, with an out-cross a generation back to FC Double Brandy's Bird Buster (who goes back to FC AFC Gun Runner's Far Out and DC FC AFC CH Renegade's Kansas Kid).  His sire, Tainter Creek Charolais, is probably the most prolific Maverick stud dog in the country. Tanner continues to impress us with his intelligence and hunting style.  He is the most biddable of all the dogs we've owned, always wanting to please - and to learn.  Strong and with excellent ground speed, he's built to find birds...and loves to swim. We intend to compete in the National Shoot-To_Retrieve Association with Tanner in the future, and in the mean time - pheasants beware....
